Meet Michael Chang
I just joined YNPN Phoenix last summer and have been really excited about the connections I've made these last several months. In both the board and the chapter membership as a whole, it's been wonderful seeing a group of diverse young professionals interested in furthering nonprofit causes come together for their own professional and personal growth.
Having a well connected and informed generation of new leaders is vital to the success of the Phoenix nonprofit community, and YNPN Phoenix certainly contributes to that success by providing programs that are relevant and facilitating meaningful contacts. I recently joined the Membership Committee to provide database and back-end support, and would be happy to discuss ideas members have to grow our organization.
Since graduating from the ASU Master's of Nonprofit Leadership and Management program in 2012, I have been working in alumni relations at A.T. Still University, a graduate-level health professions university and the founding school of osteopathic medicine. Through events, communications, volunteer outreach, and research, I help our compassionate and dedicated alumni connect with their alma mater, one another, and other professional opportunities.
Michael Chang is the Director of Alumni Relations at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. He also is a new YNPN membership committee member.
