Troika Consulting with Sentari Minor

Troika Consulting with Sentari Minor

What is your biggest problem right now? What challenges are you facing in your professional or personal life?

Use your colleagues and fellow YNPN members to help you problem solve and think through issues in your work. Through facilitated conversations and a method called “Troika Consulting”, attendees will get into groups of three to gain insight through peer-to-per coaching. A technique used by many large organizations to use the collective wisdom of a group to problem solve, share ideas, and ultimately help individuals think in a different way, YNPN Phoenix wants to empower its members to help each other in a meaningful manner.

YNPN President, Sentari Minor, will walk attendees through this exercise and the evening will also allow members to report out to the group, share more about their organizations and the work they are doing in the community, and make deep connections with fellow sector leaders.

Speaker: Sentari M. Minor, Director of Engagement & Education at Social Venture Partners Arizona (SVPAZ), facilitates the engagement of local philanthropists and activates community leaders to drive social change in the Valley. Prior to SVPAZ, Mr. Minor oversaw the corporate and foundation relations and major campaigns for the Arizona Humane Society, Arizona’s largest animal welfare organization. He started his career in the nonprofit sector at the Rodel Foundation where he managed communications, events, and special projects under the direction of the President & CEO.

A Phoenix native, Mr. Minor continued his education in the Midwest and is an alumnus of DePauw University located in Greencastle, Indiana where he studied English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He is also a member of Class IV of the American Express Leadership Academy through the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Nonprofit Innovation.

With particular interest in developing emerging leaders and nurturing young talent, Mr. Minor also serves as President of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Phoenix and as Vice Chair of The Manifesto Project.
