Come participate in an interactive workshop hosted by Toastmasters’ veteran, Michael Desiderio. Mr. Desiderio will be providing tips and tricks to improve your public speaking skills and opportunity to exercise your public speaking muscles. This will be a fun workshop full of take-away action items that you won’t want to miss!

SPEAKER: Michael Desiderio is the Executive Director of the EMBA Council, a nonprofit association of business schools throughout the world that offer Executive MBA programs. Michael has held this position since July 1, 2007. Just prior to joining the Council he served as the director of strategic partnerships for the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where he was responsible for managing business-to-business relationships. He came to the management education industry after 18 years in the corporate world in various positions that range from engineering through executive management. Michael received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001 he earned his MBA by completing the Executive MBA program at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

In addition to his work as an executive, Michael is an award-winning speaker and has been involved professionally in training and speaking for nearly 20 years. Considering communication both an avocation and a vocation, Michael is an active and passionate member of Toastmasters International, an organization focused on communication and leadership skills.
